How it started
About
FERRERA JEWELS was created by Mário Ferreira for his two children in August 2021, following his extensive experience in the world of Luxury.
He has worked with major international brands such as CHAUMET, H. STERN, MIKIMOTO, MIMI and PEQUIGNET.
To further enhance his experience, in addition to training with international brands and in gemmology, he participated in a course of LUXURY MANAGEMENT FOR EXECUTIVES at the Catholic University of Lisbon.

The creation of a gem
The process starts with a draft, which is handed to a 3D designer.
After the drawing, the resin is printed and later melted into a cylinder, thus creating the piece in the desired metal, which, in this case, is gold.
After being worked by the jeweller, it goes into the hands of the person responsible for gemmology, who selects the gems for composing the jewel.
After this process, the piece is handed to a gem-setter, who encases the gems (diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, etc.)
Then, the piece is polished and cleaned, takes a plating bath if it is in white gold, and it is ready to be delivered to the customer.
